My Sweet Sun-Shines,

MissKymmiee’s One Year Blogging Anniversary Everyone! On this exact day last year I hit Publish on my very first post and boy I have to say it has changed my life for the best.

I can’t believe its MissKymmiee’s One Year Blogging Anniversary. They say time flies when you are having fun, I couldn’t agree  more… I am still overwhelmed with the whole progress and growth I have had as a person and a blogger as well.

Little Recap…

I started this blog as a hobby and a form of self-expression on my ideas of everything fashion. If you know me then you should know am a ferocious writer… so this seemed so easy to tackle, Man! little did I now what I had in store. Waiting… and now here I am A year later celebrating MissKymmiee’s One Year Blogging Anniversary.

I wanted to major on the fashion niche… and first post later, I was seated with my friends back in university at the time and one of them, Ama told me to incorporate fitness into it. Me being a fitness junky and all. It was one of the most untapped niche especially in East Africa and Africa in general. I had one of those light-bulb-moments… thinking this is going to be how I stand out as a blogger. It all seems like yesterday Unbelievable how am celebrating MissKymmiee’s One Year Blogging Anniversary today.

Blogaversary…

I was really discouraged by one person who was so close to me at the time. Hurt that they didn’t have half a faith in me as I did. However I’m thankful, because that made me more obsessed and determined to prove them wrong! I mean look at me I am celebrating MissKymmiee’s One Year Blogging Anniversary today.

I can barely recognize me at the moment. Blogging has been the best thing that ever happened to me. I grew and recognized my personal style through it. I am Glad I did take the leap of faith and jumped into a world I knew nothing about & never knew what I had in store. The feeling after I pressed the publish button is so unreal I have the shimmer jitters to date as I celebrate MissKymmiee’s One Year Blogging Anniversary.

Haha I remember the struggle I had to stick with a blog name. I think I must have changed it about 3 or four times but I always came back to my name and the name behind my brand. The whole idea that my blog got googled and had been read all over the world with various unique visitors was over the moon insane. Am still a young blogger with big dreams and hopes and from time to time I google myself Ha! and here I am celebrating MissKymmiee’s One Year Blogging Anniversary.

Lastly…

I have had loyal and loving people who have always had a keen interest in all that I do and they have been my strength through it all, that’s why I call you guys my sweet sun-shines. You guys are my little family, and the real MVP’s. To the incredible bloggers I have met along the journey and yet to meet and have had the pleasure to work with. Lastly  the brands who dared to give me a shot and collaborated with me.
