With just 3 days to the end of Blogmas, I am having a somewhat bitter and sweet moment about it all. We, however, will cross that bridge in two days when I share my experience of Consistency Blogmas content creation in 2018. Today however am back with another question Tag, definitely the last one for the year, so let’s end it in a bang. I was on the YouTube streets this morning before I was fully awake and boy was I glad when I stumbled upon Janet Mbugua’s channel and her trending hashtag #Janets10questions and it got better because this time around she was interviewing Sharon Mundia of This is Ess and boy what an eye-opening interview that was. It resonated with me in so many ways to a point that I decided to create my own fun twist on the question and share it with you guys. 10 Questions with Kymmiee Lately

1. What’s your philosophy towards work?

I think am over the point of working just because the pay is a good bit.  I mean I am all here for good money, but my highest fulfillment or philosophy towards work is finding utterly fulfillment, making an impact and leaving a footprint. In all this, I try to strike a balance of Creativity and passion and watch me do magic. How do you balance out the content you put out?

2. How do you balance out the content you put out?

I work hard enough to produce my content. In each content that I produce. I at least make sure it meets any of the following criteria, Entertain, educate, inform, Engage and in all this be my authentic true self. I know the impact of the internet and I try to share bits of my world without doing the utterly most. 

3. How do you handle criticism?

Being in the Creative industry puts you in a weird pedestal where people expect you to be a certain way you know? and for the longest time I tried to please everyone by accommodating all sorts of suggestions to avoid criticism as my dad would call it “Dancing at every wedding.” but I took a break earlier this year and it was a gift from heaven itself, it gave me perspective and honestly to date I do what makes me happy first and take all the other critics with a grain of salt

4. If you are left on an island? what are the 5 items – A book, music, 2 animals, a weapon & A Fruit

Ha! I have always loved this question, and I thought I had the perfect answer until I asked my boss the question and his response blew my world wide open. So allow me to steal his answer. – Sorry not sorry, Ryan.

  • A Book:  How to survive in an Island. – Because I need to survive this.
  • Music: Classics
  • 2 Animals: A Hen & a Rooster – for eggs and Meat.
  • Weapon: A lighter – To light the flames.
  • Fruit: Avocado – Because it is a Superfood

5. which of the 2 animals do you relate to & why? – A Sheep or a wolf and why?

I am definitely a Wolf. I am known to be aggressive, I and I don’t mind taking charge and I always question orders, because I am not the Jump!-how-high-kind of individuals.

6. if you won a lottery ticket of 10 million USD what would you do?

Oh God! Smile so hard, that is the only way I will know m not dreaming. Then Invest the most in myself and my business. The rest will follow after all my nerves have calmed down.

7. where is your dream Holiday destination?

My dream holiday destination is still Greece. I  have mentioned this time and time again. I am very much fascinated by the beauty of it all and how Instagrammable the place is. Hopefully, I get to visit it soon.

8. How would you describe your content creation journey?

In a sentence, it would be a  learning curve. I am blessed to have stumbled into the creative space, I have met the most talented people, opened doors to opportunities I didn’t think existed and made friends along the way. All this has allowed me to discover inner talents and passion I didn’t know I had to begin this and for that am thankful for it all, the lessons, the challenges and for each beautiful moment along the way.

9. What do you do when you are alone in the car?

If it’s a long distance ride I shuffle between Netflix, music, and podcast. However, if it’s a short distance, am mostly listening to Podcast.

10. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Ha! this is actually a great question. I want to be utterly successful and truly happy. I would also love to be a mother to twin babies, I don’t know how I am to get the twins because the twin genetic is a generation off, anyways we will cross that bridge when the time comes.
