I am one of those individuals who can tell A lot about a person based on a couple of shots. If I met a person, I will make eye contact with their shoes first, if it a guy I will proceed to clock their belt and hope to God it matches their shoes as I head in for a firm handshake. At this point, you may or may not have guessed it but I clock their watches – Pun intended. I have a huge love, – Well an obsession at this point if I choose to downplay it, of watches. Even with my huge obsession, I can get a little picky when it comes to watches. I love me some statement timeless pieces that can withstand trends and seasonal changes. I love a watch that can take me from work to date night and play without having compromising my style. If you are like me, then you will be drooling over the Scandinavian Nordgreen Watches

When it comes to accessories, a watch is one of the staples that I never go out without, and its one of those things I can gladly splurge on. Since this tends to be a splurge I generally give it a second thought before purchasing one. The take away is always quality over quantity. I was very fortunate to have received the Nordgreen watch from their new seasonal collection and what is even cooler is that I had a choice from the selection that fitted my style.
CLASSIC SCANDINAVIAN WATCH WITH AN EDGE
Clearly, I am no ordinary girly girl, and my accessories HAVE to reflect that. I always need a show stopper of accessories and more times. Be it a Signature Scent or my now Scandinavian Watch. I prefer the male section as they offer more bold pieces that align with my style. When I jumped on the Nordgreen site, my eyes were immediately drawn toward this season’s pioneer watch. I opted for the black vegan leather strap with a black dial that would match with literally everything in my minimal closet, regardless of the fact that 90 percent of my wardrobe is an all-black ensemble. To get a pop of color I did incorporate a pop of color I opted for a rose gold crown for a more classic and edgy look.

As with all Nordgreen watches, the Pioneer watch is customizable and is available in rose gold/ black/ navy blue/ gunmetal or silver mesh strap with either a white/ navy or and black dial. The watch strap can be either leather, mesh, nylon, or vegan leather. The watch combination is a tad too perfect and having seen it in real life, my heart is full. It’s the finishing touch to every outfit – almost like that final mist of perfume before leaving the house. I slip it onto my wrist and my everyday outfit feels complete, and I put together. The watch adds a subtle eye catch and elevates even the simplest of outfits without being over the top or at all flashy. Having the option of interchangeable straps is the cherry on top when it comes to these pieces.
If I could do it all over again, I would pick this Scandinavian watch combination over and over again.
Whilst money may not be able to buy you love in the form of a patient photographer boyfriend, it can buy you one of the new pioneer Nordgren watch and that’s kinda the same thing and which by the way, won’t leave its laundry lying around all over the place.
