“Style is Personal.”
This post has been long overdue, because God knows I would have needed a post like this in 2016 when I discovered my own personal style. Crazy how that is over 3 years ago. Digrassing as always, I had a crazy style journey before that of hits and misses, but if am being 100% mostly misses, because that pink stage was just a mess.
Today I have the final update; Defining Personal Style, on the personal style segment. In case you missed it, here is a short recap for the newbies, The first post, I discussed the various Types of Personal styles where I touched base on the common types of styles world-wide to give you an over view of what is what and if you can relate to any of the groups, the key point was to give a mental picture of what Glam, Emo, Preppy and Edgy just to mention but a few looks like it, and the key was to help you guys put a name to you’re already developed personal style and for those who haven’t to get a general idea. The 2nd post Finding Personal Style highlighted on understanding and helping one fully capture their personal style with a couple guideline questions to help you through. More about it can be found here. With that being out-of-the-way today I came up with a fun way to fully help you in finding and Defining Personal Style. It is a list-check to help you out on your journey. I wish somebody would have told me about it sooner.
I think my shopping has been way easier ever since I knew my personal style, here is a hint to help you through. Don’t take it too serious and this is an ongoing process, as we grow with time so does our style evolve within us. The only constant thing is having FUN alongside your discovery.
